The 2017 conference will include a workshop hosted by Unicoil featuring David Cocuzzi of The National Coil Coating Association in the USA and Gary Dallin of The GalvInfo Center. Topics to be discussed include:
Materials used in the coil coating process
Pre-painted metal options including new applications
Handling and storage as well as maintenance and repair best practices
Selection of proper coating mass for optimum product life
New applications for galvanized steel
ASTM standards, important parameters and tolerances
An optional field trip is also available to Al Ghurair Iron & Steel LLC, the first & only Steel Cold Rolling &Galvanizing complex in the United Arab Emirates.
